How much does a move cost? What determines the price

This is the question we hear most often. The honest answer is: it depends. But it can be broken down, so you know what you're paying for and how to pay less. Here's what really affects the price of a move.

Volume of belongings and size of the flat

This is the main factor. A studio is a different amount of work from a house. The more furniture and boxes, the more people and van space are needed — and sometimes more trips. That's why it's worth getting rid of things you don't need before the move.

Floor and lift

Carrying things up and down stairs takes time and effort. A ground-floor flat, or one with a lift, is cheaper to handle than a fourth floor with no lift. We always ask about this when quoting, because it genuinely affects the crew's work.

Distance

A move within one town is one thing; carrying furniture to the other end of Poland is another. Distance and travel time both count. On longer routes, fuel and time make up a significant part of the price.

Scope of the service

You can pack everything yourself and just hire a crew with a van, or leave it all to us: packing, dismantling and assembling furniture, protection. The more we take on, the easier it is for you — but it also affects the price.

Unusual items

A piano, a safe, large appliances or exceptionally heavy furniture are a separate matter, because they need more people and more care. We always quote for such items individually.

How to pay less

A move mid-week and away from the end of the month can be cheaper, as those dates are less in demand. Cutting down on how much you take reduces the cost. And packing the boxes yourself saves money, if you have the time.
